Welcome to Ongar Preschool, a vibrant and nurturing environment for children aged 2 to 5. We are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Wednesday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Our modern hall in Ongar, together with a lovely outdoor play area, provides a safe and inspiring space where children can explore, play, and learn. Each day is filled with creative activities, playful learning, and engaging experiences designed to build curiosity, develop confidence, and encourage a lifelong love of learning.

Our dedicated team of experienced practitioners provide the highest level of care and attention, helping lay the foundations for lifelong learning during these crucial early years. Every child is supported to explore, create, and develop at their own pace, in a safe and welcoming space.

The team of trained practitioners also are fully qualified to support children with their special educational needs, behavioural issues and assistance in safeguarding matters. All practitioners are paediatric first aid trained.​

We pride ourselves on offering a fun, inclusive, and inspiring environment, where children feel happy, confident, and ready to take their next steps in learning and development.

Extended Childcare Options
The Ongar hall is also home to our Breakfast Club, After-School Club, and Holiday Club. These clubs provide flexible care for children from Ongar Preschool as well as other local schools and settings for children ages 2-10.

 

Whether your child needs before school childcare, or after-school activities, we offer nurturing support and meals to suit your schedule. Our Holiday Club also gives children the chance to enjoy a variety of fun and educational activities during school breaks.
